cheers lads and are these easy to fit like unbolt the old one fit with the new one like ???
  6. #6
there isnt an old one, lol. its something extra you put it in. and yes, pretty easy to do

they range in style and how they adjust the throw

i like the b&m best of them all but there rather pricy but come ready to just drop in and go
where as the compbrake require fucking about and ive seen several come loose and wobble aswell as if you dont get right they case stiff gears or can hit the heat sheilds/exhaust

the griffiths are a good design for extending a lever in the linkages but can wobble causing a wobbly stick

i dont want one what goes underneath the car i want one complete like the gear stick and the base plate and that, then them ones just drop in dont they ???
  9. #9
    you want the b&m then

use your origonal baseplate but just clips in

yh mate you have to take of the 4 bolts and then drop the quickshif in dont ya ??? but if we are on track then yh i want one of those lol ow much are they then mate ????
  11. #11
yea you have to swap the actual stick in the plate so instead of taking out the baseplate (the 4 bolts) you just take off the white clip ring and pull out the stick after youve unbolted the linkage underneath

then just drop in the new stick and replace the ring
they usually cost about 90 quid i think

I got the griffifths engineering one for £23 delivered.

I'm well happy with it, one of the best mods for the money

B&M one is a little better, but not worth the extra imo unless you want it for looks

apart from the better build quality better fit and then the lovely looks as you said
and the fact it cant fall off
and it will effect the throw in both directions not just one
