which is best

   lowering set ups...
   
   Spax -60m fully adjustable set up (VSX kit) with OMP strut brace
   
   or -40m on just gmax springs with OMP strut brace!?
   
   opionions pls...
   
   
   im think that the spax set up is best but want opinions...

   cant u get the spax setup with the smaller drop?
   
   only ask cos personally i wouldnt go that low

   i wouldnt go 60 mm as could have problems with the driveshafts and so on.
   
   why get adjustable, are you ever going to adjust it?

   personally i'd go for neither if you're looking for a new set up then go for gmc -50mm springs and gmc grpN billies. but out of those two options then i'd go for the spax.

   depends on what you are after mate??
   
   i have 60mm springs on my standard shocks and the handling is spot on. the ride isnt to harsh either. but im thinking of uprating the shocks, as the cars getting a little old now
   
   i also have a strut brace too. my car handles alot better than standard. she still clears speed bumps and the front end just misses kurbs when i park up

   you have a mk1 or mk2?
   
   mk2 need a mod to the power steering pipe if you are going down 60mm

   boz raise it to 40mm with some bilsteins and you will notice a HUGE difference. I even noticed a massive difference going from 50 to 40.

   shes havin a major overhaul this year mate i have a few things im wanting to sort out.
   
   mainly brakes and suspension, i will be replacing the standard shocks for better kit, might as well go for the best handling setup. what springs/shocks you got scott?

   well the spax kit is only costing me £150... & fitting will be free! i need new dampers anyway as the standerd ones are now exhausted after 106.5k.... they are expensive too... so for £150 is it a better set up than i already have!
   
   just had 2 new drive shafts. Early Mk2VTR.
   
   
   coul di have a pic og a sax lowerd 60m to remind me how sweet it looks!

    i would say Spax mate, my spax -40 vsx kit is awsome in every aspect. At £150 its a bargain too!

    were did you get that kit from mate? i want one ! and who;s fitting it for ya ? ... i'd go a 40mm drop myself as i have read dreaded things about 60mm drops.
