Cap Help PLease...

   Just got carbon mirror caps from Streamline yesterday, so I pulled off the silver mirror caps and tried to stick the carbon ones on with some tiger seal. It seems the caps dont sit flat on the mirror and they wouldnt take a propper grip! Anyone know what to do here? Stick them onto the silver OG caps?!

   Ok so here are a couple photos of the caps then with them just sitting on top of the original caps that are on, sits better on the cap than it does on the mirror without the cap but leaves a little of the silver cap showing, looks good but could be irritating.....    I can clamp them on till the tiger seal sets so less silver shows.

   i would have thought they replaced the existing caps

   i think you should re tiger seal them and use rubber bands like dave said

    it looks like the replace your old ones not to sit on top of them mate i could be wrong but it does look like they do tbh

    Exactly what I thought they were ment to do!!
    So Iv re-tiger sealed them and being clamped on with maskin tape and rubber bands, just waitin for them to set now!

    Cheers mate, I prefered to go for them rather than getting different wing mirrors all together!
    They werent cheap though, bout £45 I think!

    Just want to find out, how long should I leave it to set? Its been about an hour and a half since i put em on. Will I dare take off the tape and bands?!
