How Low Can You Go!

    Hiya lads, i've got a 1998 vtr and its currently running on 17" bk238's. how low do you think i can drop the car without TOO MUCH hassle? about 35-40mm? any help would be good.

    If you became a premium member you could read the how-to-guide

    You can get away with a 40mm drop without too much hassle:

    You need to trim the arch linings, check they dont rub against the washer bottle. You have to modify the bumper backets. You need to move the part of the rear wheel arch liner.

    So with a 35mm drop you'd have slightly less work to do.

    If you have the money then you can go as low as you want mate, within reason. 60mm looks nice on 17s but there is a fair amount of work involved.

    yeh my mate got 17's with it dropped 60mm looks well nice! still blaggin him to get some pictures up! next time he is out im taking my camera and taking some and putting them up for him

    i think im gonna get some 40mm lowering springs then, maybe off ebay. whats this i keep reading though about "these springs will lower your saxo 40mm (saxo vtr/vts 25mm)" how come they dont drop the vtr/vts models 40mm the same?

    VTS/VTR's are all ready lower than other models as standard
