16V 205 Possible??

   Hi There can anyone shed some light on how the Engine wiring harness would connect to the main loom in a 205 or would we have to rewire the whole car.
   
   Im presuming it wont be as simple as pluging the Engine Wiring Harness into the spare plug as you do with say a Saxo/106

   Get your self a early Saxo VTS / 106 GTI engine and it should not be to hard to do. Best if you can get a unlocked ECU. Do you have the 205 wiring diagram? If not try this forum http://forum.205gtidrivers.com/ Have you thought about a XU engine? The MI16 is a piss easy fit..

   We already have the 106GTI 16v TU Lump Sitting stripped down awaiting. Gasflowed Lightened & Balance if its going to be worth it. Also have an unlocked ECU And the 1 Plug Loom.
   
   Just need advice on how it mates to the 205 Harness.

   All we have at the minute is the 1.6 16v Engine, No Car yet just wondering what the best/lightest shell we can use for a fast road setup on Track.
   
   We have already built a GTI'd Quicksilver that went well so hoping to do the same but with a 205 we did think of a 309 for being different.
   
   I see Jackman has a 16v 205 Rallye so it must be possible. Wiring is the only issue just now

   Was gonna say, 205 Rallye would be awesome. Jackman and a few others have done it!
   
   From what I hear the suspension set up on the UK spec Rallye isn't the best so it might be worth using parts from a 205 GTi to make it uber good!
   
   And yeah, a 1.6 16v will fit. Needs some custom stuff though. Jackman would be the bloke to ask.
