i have a k&n induction kit , raceland 4-2-1 and a full supersprint race system

whats the next step i should take to archive some gains

i cannot afford cams ect so looking for something cheaper

    any ideas?

    Strip out the car?

    Improve brakes & suspension?

Power is relatively expensive. Even just a fast road cam is a relatively cheap mod. I would go with Quick and say your best is to totally strip the car. There is a lot of weight you can shed and its free.

brakes are a good idea , can i fit the 283's under my vts alloys? or gotta be 266's?

not got rear seats in but still have all the carpet and trim in place

only thing putting me off cams are that i could't fit them myself so would have to pay labour and don' they need mapping to the car?

thing that really puts me off is the road noise tho lol i hate it

think i'd rather strip it and lay dynamat or summert under some carpet lol but then it defeats the point

add lightness and wear ear plugs

Personally I'd concentrate on the suspension and handling

    Port and polish TB.

    Strip the rear out.

    Befor adding more BHP...

brakes it is next thinkin of gettin 266's

unless 283's would go under my vts alloys?
  13. #13
283's will go under vts rims.

sounds good then lol just need to find a decent set

anyone put in the bigger master cylinder aswell?

also what colour would you paint then behind yellow vts alloys on my car, i wouldn't want black as i'd want em to stand put a bit more being bigger lol

23mm master cylinder should be win.

283's will go under vts rims

but weigh a lot, and are still only a 1piston system

266mm offer good gains over standard, without as much weight as 283's

theyre fine for road and light track use providing you use decent pad's and discs
