decating mk2 98bhp model?

   So how would i go about getting the car decated, scince the cat is in the manifold, would it have to be a race manifold? and if so, would the car run properly without the lambda sensors?

   you can swap to the earlier type manifold
   or get a 4 branch
   
   either way likelyhood is you need to relocat the oil filter (only certain aftermarket ones fit)
   as for lamda sensors most will run the top sensor (pre cat one) in the exhaust and then sleeve the second (after cat) one
   this tricks the ecu as it reads clean air on the second sensor
