hi ok ive got this air filter on

was happy with it but i think it needs more sound and more air. i had a k&n 57i sounds good just bad for hot air!! anyway was thinking putting a cold airfeed to it the new one. so cutting and hole in to the bottom and putting a pipe in the hole and from there to the front of the car.

    will this make more sound?

or just drilling holes in the right hand side of it help??

when i was looking at it,it dont look like it gets much air.

I dont think that would actually make it much better tbh

Could try drilling a few holes underneath, but i wouldnt want to lol

Try the cold air feed underneath, see where you get. If its good then let us all know

I wouldnt go drilling holes in that, lol

Running a secound inlet to the encloser sounds wise because the more COld Air the better?

them kits were based on the Peugeot sport induction kits
and if it's good enough for pugsport it's good enough for me lol
I would just fit the biggest filter you can (like a green) in there and induction noise is bad as it means the filters open in the bay to heat (unless on throttle bodies ect)

The engine will only draw in as much air as it needs. I'm sure the current setup your have will allow a good amount of air through.

If you want more noise, remove the outer casing and fit the biggest filter you can. Expect to lose more power though.

Just keep it as it is

    there a good enclosure yes

depend on what filter is inside it though as to if its got a decent one

IIRC bending the slam panel slightly will helps these induction kits alot as the "scoop" is blocked by the slam panel so opening this up will give a great cold air feed

was thread on it not so long ago

also a decent filter will help too

quite a few people have though

several cars either run an airbox over the bodies or put them through the scuttle for a nice long inlet and cool air from outside the bay

the one boxes have curved trumpets normally
    look at jpsaxos westy
