short ariel & Mudflaps

   Basically my mate has got a shorter ariel on his car and it looks so much better and i keep forgeting to ask him how to do it so im asking on here. I dont wanna pay 4 a bee sting cuz apprantly u can just shorten ur own 1.
   
   Also can any1 tell me how to fit mudflaps im struggling (its props proper easy lol)

   pull the end cap off the end of it . cut the ariel down to the size you want and glue the end back on...
   
   you may need to drill the end cap a little so itll fit snugg over the ariel

   I did this but could not get the cap off even after drilling. In the end I just dabbed a bit of superglue on top of the ariel where it had been cut with a fine tooth junior hacksaw to stop it splintering. Looks okay to me but having the cap on would be better if you can manage to get it off.

   seen a thread tonight, where someone bought a 206 areil from peugeot for £5 and its 1 hell of alot shorter and looks standard, not like these bee-sting things

   Yeah just get a 206 aerial it still fits the saxo
