    Ok, which one works best?

    Slidehammer?

    or

    Socket/60mm bolt technique?

    You decide.

    slidehammer

The bolt technique only works on bars that aren't stuck in solid, which is a very small percentage of them.

Even slide hammer won't budge a lot of them, sledge hammer and spare sacrificial torsion bar always does the job in my experience although it can take a lot of battering to budge them.

i snapped a slide was a cheap one though so gonna use a bolt n socket looks like a new torsion ?
bought the VTR and it has discs on the back been told that it will be a VTS axle ?

Theyre both sh*t if im being honest and if you don know what your doing both can cause massive problems if (for example) you use a bolt thats too long for socket method and bottom it out in the thread causing it to snap, or you rip the thread out of your torsion bar with a slide hammer if its not screwed in tight enough with a good bolt

Or you're buggered with both if your bars are pretty stiff

BIG BAR AND HAMMER IS FAIL PROOF

Slide hammer has never failed for me. Just get your self a nice big one and so quality strong bolts to use with it.

Best way thats even better than a Bar and Hammer........Air Chisel but with a 15mm socket on the end so its flat! Doesnt damage the bars and the vibrations get them out pretty quick! Also good if the cars on axle stands as doesnt move much!
