Quick Question.. Rear wiper motor..

    Just removed the rear wiper and the motor.. do i need to do anything else with the lead that i unplugged from the motor?

    Also one more thing.. Under the bonnet.. the black cloth like stuff on the underside of the bonnet.. does it need to be there or is it ok to remove it? its a mk1 vtr by the way.

    I removed the black carpet stuff from my bonnet. As far as i know i thought it was just for sound deadning so shudnt b a problem doesnt half look better as well. Also when i de wipered mine i just wrapped the end of the lead in insulation tape .

    No you dont need to do anything with the lead - You could protect the terminals by putting abit of isulation tape over the plug but other then that just cable tie it out of the way..

    the black carpet stuff is just a sound pad, if you dont want it lose it..

    i snipped my plug off where it meets the loom, never going to need that again lol

    .... until you want to sell it. Just tie it out of the way so it does not rattle about.
