Fuel Return Line, Yay or Nay

    Hi guys i got a westy was wondering what your personal opinions and encounters with running the fuel return line, was wondering if everyone could be kind enough as to supply me with there own knowledge on this subject,

    Some say yes and some say no im undecided, i no it is more hassel but if it needs doing it needs doing.

    i dont understand the question, they come standard with a fuel return do they not? if it is not used then there is a danger of the car over fueling

    Not the westy's im doing im doing a "s" conversion thats my question SORRY its with the vts engine what do people do with the fuel return line?

    We install the return fuel....yes it is a pain to do but we prefer to do it this way.

    how much to run the line for me ?

    im interested in this as i am starting my conversion soon and this was the only bit of the job i was slightly worried about!!

    it not a complicated job its just awkward really....some people install the pipe some dont but from our point of view I want to be sure that theres no problems when the car when it leaves us.

    Seats out, you have to run it up through the passenger foot well if irrc, cant wait till its done, nearly doubling my bhp!!

    GOing from my west 75bhp
    to a VTS pushing 147 on the dyno before the cambelt give up new valves!!! lol

    To be honest you dont need one but some people prefer to do it when doing the conversion. I was lucky with mine that I had a 97 VTR which was the only year to HAVE a return fuel line already fitted.
