VTR mk1 (i think spolier loose)

    iv had a search and cant find how the mk1 spoiler fastens to the bootlid, its nto on the glass and is loose but can seem to find how you access the screws / nuts whatever holds it on

    any help as its doing my head in now.

    on mine (mk2 vtr), there is just s torx screws on the inside of the window as its fastened through the glass.

    i think. correct me if im wrong.

    sometimes they are just stuck on mate by the person who owned it before.. so myt need re-sticking... i think the sticking stuff is called tiger grip or something like that

    ive got a mk1 and i cant find the screws anywere at all... ive looked for them!! so i just presumed they are all bonded on... apart from mk2s that is

    You can attach the spoiler with Tiger Seal, try a good Motor factor or Ebay, thats where i got mine from.

    if you cant see any sealant then it could be bolted on. i did this when putting the spoiler on my vtr. open the boot and you'll see two rubber hose type things in the join/gap at the 'top' of the boot (one at each side). pull them away and you can access any bolts from there

    aaah i have the hoses or i do at one side cant remember other, il have a gander tonight

    if not its getting bonded...
