Well le paxo's manifold is starting to show its age.
Im in the market for a budget 8v manifold for a few months. Dont particualy want to splash out on a supersprint one for this enigne when ive got the 16v lump going in, in 6months-ish.
    Choices are the janspeed one:

    and the raceland one :

Heard alot of problems with the raceland one. Once its heatwrapped whats my best choice out of them two?
Or i could just change to a standard one, but wheres the fun in that.

    Regards

What problems ahve you heard about the racelands?

One difference is the material theyre made out of, the janspeed will need some protective paint stuff put on it, to prevent it from cracking or somthing.

Id just go for which ever is cheapest between the two.

Personaly cant you just buy some nice black heat wrap and wrap it your self? will look new again

Or pick a second hand 4-1 GMC one and wrap it ?

personally I'd hold off. 6months isn't that long

but if the money is burning a hole in your pocket then I'd chose the raceland. Might not be finished to the highest standard but they still perform
