  2. #2
depends if you plan to go further.

catcam 708s, or newmans ph3s seem to be the popular ones
  3. #3
might go further but if not what power would i expect to get??
  4. #4
depends how dodgy the rollers are and whos mapping it.

    708s and wayne expect 153/7bhp
  5. #5

  6. #6

no. Might need to give yourself a pinch lol

early to mid 150s would be my estimate for the 708s

We used to have a 180bhp 205 gti and even that got spanked on a standing start by scoobs
  11. #11
my mates building a hi spec 205 gti atm
  12. #12
well my mates got a standard sti we wer out in it couple of days ago n this black vts flew past anyway set of lights apeared bit of spin off the saxo at first but it just left us for a laugh....

well dont know what exactly he has got under the bonnet
what would it take to get it faster than a sub?
  17. #17
    faster? or quicker
  18. #18
    well whats the difference?
  19. #19
lmao, faster is how fast it goes, quicker is how quick it gets there
  20. #20
to be faster than a well driven performance car = alot of money

To be faster than a badly driven car = how much are driving lessons?
  21. #21
well quicker then, obiously a sub is guna be faster top end
  22. #22

    the majority rarely have both
  25. #25
    talent is my uncle

    n money is my dad
    i best get beggin lol
  26. #26
Dont know a great deal about scoobys but uk spec turbo models dont seem to be that quick when they are on the go already but off the start with 4wd they should be eating saxos
  27. #27
    haha loving the subaru360

Stick to 708s bud, or newmansph3
  28. #28
it did pull off the line but second gear let it down the saxo dominated it
  29. #29
ill have to have a look at these 708's
  30. #30
708's and newmans ph3 are similar
  31. #31
    which one's would you recomend
  32. #32
i would say PH3 but that becasue i have Ph3 in my saxo at the moment, like they said both very much the same in spec,

Ph3 are alittle cheaper at the moment aswell!!

also on a good dyno dont expected much more that 145!!

well i talk to a few well repected mappers who mapped saxo and 106 alot, they say 708 and PH3 will be around 140 -145!!

also would say look at getting new followers when changing camshafts!

Stripp ALL excess weight out for a difference. Spare wheel, back seats etc etc. Decent suspension and brakes so you can corner quicker and brake later. Would help in a "street off" at the lights, lol

    Final point.......... RUBBER

your tyres are the last point of contact between the drivetrain and the road. This is an area not to be skimped on. Depending where your driving and depends on what conditions determins what type of tyre you go for.

The Hancook RS2's are supposed to be a good bit of rubber
