right, i currently have no inlet mani on my engine atm, as im replacing parts of the PAS and steering rack, and had to remove it to get behind...

i lol'd with a amte about putting throttle bodies on my car.
big conversation . . . ended up it should be a no go-er!

its not been done, for a good reason apprently.
but wouldnt every little breathing mod help?

not saying i want to to it.
just in theory...there is nothing stopping me right?

and yeah its because ive seen 3 throttle bodied threads tonight!

is it really worth spending 1-2k on a turd?

I mean do you enjoy pissing into the wind.

Throttle bodies + ecu isnt cheap

my 1.1 is just a toy tbh... gets me around, cheap a-b... as much as i love it.
something different would be cool under the bonnet...

what would be stopping me putting something like bike bodies on there? something like that.
i gots tonnes of bike parts, bound to have some old ones from a GSXR left over or something.

the fact that a standalone ecu + map isnt cheap.

You need an inlet manifold for the bodies, plus usually a few other sensors.

The reason its not done on 1.1s is theres little to be gained from it, when you can chuck a decent engine in for a fraction of the cost.

could do it and then later on get a vtr lump with the same inlet port spacing and a lairy cam in it though

would mean a mapping session again

could be worth a laugh but tbh it is a bit of a waste of time

I know what you mean mate tryin to do somthin that someone hasant already done is quite hard I did have that thought once apon a time but it did come down to how much itl cost
