Hi guys not long uprated my rear beam to a vtr one from my standard westy one only problem was it is 80mm lower, so i come around to highering it and the one swing arm bearing is siezed and also the rear torsion bar

Think it is time for a new one other wise i gotta go 60mm on the front and i dont really wanna do that cause im rubbing in my arches as it is

siezed as in no movement up and down ?

or seized as in you can get the torsion bar out?

As in the swing arm wont come off the beam and the torsion bar wont come out,
The swing arm moves up and down. but just wont come off.

u dont wont to take it off , u'll knacker the bearing doing so

best to remove the torsion bar fully

best way to remove a seized tosion bar is remove the washers both sides , screw a bolt in one side so u dont damage the torsion bar , slide hammer in the other , get a m8 to help , and use a 1/2 extension bar and a lump hammer to knock the side with the bolt in while ur m8 uses the slide hammer on the other

mind they only go one way
