  1. #1
    hi,

i am getting some new bushes for my car,

is anyone using polyrace bushes on the wishbone and powerflex arb bushes?

what do they think of it?

    thanks

I would recommend uprated bushes to anyone that is replacing standard ones.

Purple powerflex are the entry stage ones I guess. I moved from them to the stiffer black powerflex ones and cant tell the difference.

So Im guessing any combo will be more than fine between powerflex and polyrace.

I've got rear powerflex fitted - rear end feels 'tighter' but could be placebo affect!? I had to take my rear beam off anyway to rebuild - once you set the old bushes alight - they drop out so easy to change them over!!

S8TTG fitted my front antirollbar bushes on a ramp with an air gun so took 30secs a side - should be fairly easy on axle stands! Just undo them (one side at a time) and take old out, put new in an tighten back up!

Polyrace bushes all round but with powerflex anti roll bar bushes seems to be a favourite set-up from reading (polyrace being slightly stiffer than powerflex)

You won't regret it !! With it all fitted and back on the road it'll all make sense why you spent days sweating and swearing trying to fit it all!

The front ARB bushes are the easiest to fit. Willsy helped me with mine but I didnt realise how easy it was!

Main point is, I did notice a difference from standard to uprated. From purple uprated to black uprated powerflex no difference. But still a work while mod.

are the black ones the polyrace? or powerflex uprated ones from there purple ones?

but yer i am defo getting them now, just waiting for pay day

going to get powerflex front arb ones, and rear torsion bar mounts, and polyrace wishbones ones

I had power flex wishbone mounts with powerflex front arb bushes, it was good, nice and tight compared to standard.

I now have solid rear wishbone mounts, polyrace front wishbone bushes and powerflex competition (black ones) arb bushes. ALOT stiffer, i think thats mainly down to the solid mounts tbh though.

One thing i will say, Polyrace bushes are quite noisey, annoying at times but livable

Yea the black ones are the uprate Powerflex bushes.

I think the Polyrace bushes are a redish color?
