Fitting interior into a stripped out saxo troubles!!

  1. #1
I stripped out my saxo 2 1/2 years ago and now it is time to put everything back in. But I have totally forgotten how it went in/came out. The front seats went in rather easy, but as for the seat belts well.

    First problem -

    1) The seat belt holder won't release the belt. So I can't pull it out so I can bolt it inside the rear door card and then pull the seat belt up to the attachment on the door pillar. Does anyone know why it won't release?

    2) How do the rear seats go back in please?

    Cheers chaps

The seat belts will only release when at a particular angle due to ball bearings inside. If you bolt the reel part in place first, it will then be correctly angled and slide out.

The rear backrest goes onto 4 bolts either side at the bottom of the rear arches. You need 4 nuts to then secure it. The rear bench should just drop on. There's 2 brackets at the front that it slides onto

I hope they do release. There is something about the saxo, in the sence of nothing is easy to do. Everything has fought me this project. ruddy car
