Smoothing a VT spoiler into a boot.

  1. #1
Right, as i commented in a last thread, i just picked up a new boot. I'm in the process of smoothing over the boot lock areas, and i recently had an idea of smoothing the VT spoiler into the boot, as apposed to it blatently being just added ontop. Any ideas about how this will look, or any pictures of people who have done this?

    All help is appreciated

i had that thought 2day 2....help would be good....

I'm not sure it could be done as it's bolted to the rear windscreen rather than the bodywork.

Well, more the bit just above the windscreen. The bit ontop shouldn't be a problem however lower down where it connects to the bodywork near the windscreen could be a problem, as would be abit fidly to make sure a decent job was done.

The spoiler is attached to the boot, which when opened points upward in the air...

How are you gonna smooth it? You won't be able to open the boot anymore...

why not? as u jus said, spoilers attached to the boot, so when you open it, it follows the boot and points upwards in the air.

mk1's are mounted on the actual boot, can be smoothed

mk2's are mounted through the glass , fail!

    To clear up any confusion
