Sticky hard stuff...

    hi guys,
in the process of stripping the rear of my sax.
i've took some of the rear cards out, rook the rear seatbelts off, and now I have just ripped the carpet off... on the sides where the wheel space is if you get me...
And underneath is some weird hard stuff, that is cracking off and when I pull a bit off... it's sticky undernear.

Its virtually impossible to get off, so does anybody know a way to get it off, or should I put my rear cards back in and cover with suede material?

heat it up using a heat gun.

then it'll just peel off presumably?

Got some heat guns at work so will give it a blast

    Thanks bud.

use a wall paper scraper, best method, be carefull if you bothered about the paint but tbh when stripped unless you spray the inside it looks shit anyway, but will come straight off with scaraper did it last week
