Injector shagged

   Car went for MOT on wednesday last week.
   
   Car failed miserably on emissions, the o-rings on the injectors had fallen apart. Anywho they bought new o-rings and the clips for the o-ring to be held in place were damaged and the o-ring was sliding off. So I have been advised to grab 4 more injectors from citroen at £75 each.
   
   Euro car parts can supply bosch injectors for £67.62
   
   Anyone no a good place for a new set of injectors at a decent cost?

   another option is to buy 2nd hand. Or you can have them refurbed

   True, but honest to god these injectors on the R lump are practically brand new anyway looking at them. 2nd hand I'd probably end up with a duff set tbh.

   i have a set of injectors just laying around in the garage.they worked fine without issue on my old vtr

   Blacktop or silvertop rail tom? Any pics and general condition?
   
   I had a blacktop rail with 4 good looking injectors and gave them away the other week... like a tard.

   its a black top rail. they are all good

   ive just got new clips and o-rings from citroen . . . £20.61.

   tonto- They bought o-rings from citroen and I quote "£39" that is nearly double what you paid! I feel like I'm being given the run round atm and wished I had just took the car home sorted a cheap injector rail and got a MOT off a mate down south.
   
   Tom I'm sure the silvertop uses the same injectors as the blacktop but can this be clarified. May see if I can grab a lift to a scrappy later.

    Ok what the injectors are missing is simply the clip at the bottom of the injector, and citroen no longer supply these apparently:

    Citroen said they can supply them at 1.96 each... however there are 2 variations and they need to confirm it. So the garage is taking the injectors to citroen in a bit and seeing if they can sort a clip out.
    
    The other set of clips will be on delivery for 48hrs time.
