middle box

   i have a sportex 3" round backbox on my 1.1 and it sounds mint! but it's so loud inside the car...it's getting realy annoying when im cruising at say 50/60mph. do you think it's posible to fit a middle box? do you think it will make it quieter?

   Do you still have your standard centre section? Or a Sportex one?
   
   If its the standard it should already have a centre silencer

   yea it's the standard as far as i know...i havnt changed it.

   some 1.1s dont have a silencer in the centre. my mate also has a forte 1.1 2000 and it doenst have a silencer in the middle

   theres only the cat then through to the backbox. i take it this is not standard? however when it had the standard backbox on, it was quite quiet

   you could just get a centre with a silencer already in it from a scrapyard or on here
