gti engine in vtr?

   i have a vtr and i am looking to do a 16v conversion, i might be buyin a gti engine with ecu and loom from the same year as my car jus wondering will it be same as doin a vts conversion? any help appreciated

   long as u have the engine , loom , ecu , its the same

   ive been told tho i will need a vts loom as it will require alot of rewiring with a gti loom?

   Correct or get a gti internal loom aswell but then some of your clocks may not work.

   be easier to just get a vts loom tho wouldn it lol would i also need the front section of the exaughst?
