Surley the multiple threads about this gave you the info?

But simply you need bodies + a standalone ecu so thats 1-2k gone there.

Plus then however far as you want to go.

    some throttled bodies?

  6. #6
Yes, thats all fine and dandy, but speaking with manufacturers they are all for the 16v TU5 engines.

Simon at Jenvey was saying its because the inlet manifold does not match (Obviously) so was wondering if:

    http://www.gmcmotorsport.co.uk/index...roducts_id=213

    Would fit a VTR?

Should I just speak to GMC as then we don't get the sarcasm...

Oh and incase you can't tell I'm not a throttle body genius...

    Thanks,
    Wes

Certainly worth a try, im sure GMC could russle up an inlet manifold to suit the 8v.

Failing that try the 106rallyeregister alot of 8v'ers there running on bodies.

most people run bike bodies on 8vs (well they are cheap enough not to go for 16vs so cheap bodies suit them )

Failing that a custom inlet manifold matched to a set of individual bodies will work like SFs
