VTR Engine Not Starting

   hi im not sure if i posted in correct place just need urgent help ASAP!!??
   i have been having starting problems with my vtr mk1. it some times turns over straight away but then sumtyms it just wont turn over. it doesnt matter weather its cold or hot or anything. i changed the fuel cut off switch, put redex injector cleaner in tank, but its still doing it
   any help asap

   loose cable on starter mate check that first if not maybe problem with ignition. i had this and just run a cable to a push start straight from batery to starter

   check the earth wires also

   hey thanks guys, its just really peeying me off as cant go any wherre without thinking if its going to start, where are the earth wires?

   the one from the battery, make sure its tight and remove from body and make sure its clean, other one is on the gearbox.
   also check connections on battery, take them off and clean connectors.

   ok il try giving that ago tomorrow.. hope its just that as i dont fancy spending alot. its just sumtyms it will turn over straight away, and some it just wont turn over. when it does turn over it doesnt seem 2 like it
