106 gti conversion

   alrite guys, got myself a 106 gti for my 1999 mk1 saxo vtr, got the engine all in and wired, went to plug in the loom to the big multiplugs and its a twin plug and theres not any wires goin to the fuse box or anerser switch which i had on my old loom,? does anyone know if a vts loom will fit on the 106 gti engine and will this plug straight into my cars loom? if so does anyone have one? cheers cole

   the vts loom will fit on the gti engine. and it will plug straight into your loom

   you can make it fit, but it would be a total mission, and requires some investigation works and chopping lol

   vts loom and ecu on ebay at moment dude for 25 sheets

   you'll have to change some sensors and possibly alternator, all depends on age. you'll need an early single plu loom and ecu as well so bear that in mind while looking

   you dont always need to swap the sensors, you can get away with swapping connectors

    well yeah, for me it was easier to swap the sensors because i already had them. how you gettin on with the 3 plug ecus?

    cheers for the info lads, think av got the right one of a boy whos fitted them before so goin to pick tht up tomorrow and see how it goes!
