what is it?

   I know number 1 is the air box....and ive seen when induction kits are fitted number 2 isnt there....but I really cant see what number 2 is??? (see below)
   also how do you remove the grille? (mk1 smilie style)

   To take the grill off you need to take the indicators out and remove the white clips,and the remove the other bolts and it should come off...

   ok...im thinking of drilling the air box....I know where to do it etc....was just wondering will this decrease performance as some of the air will be escaping??? and will it make much noise??
   also how do you remove the indicators? I had a quick look but looks like you hav to remove the whole light unit?

   to remove the indicator if you open the bonnet and look down behind the indicator between the headlamp you will see the plastic holder which is part of the unit. just press down lightly with a screwdriver and pull the lamp forward and it will slide right out.
