Heatproof Paint And Heat Wrap?

   Got my manifold through in the post today - I have got some high temperature paint as well as some heat wrap. Was wondering weather if anyone has put heatproof paint on their stainless manifold and wrapped it after. Dont think it would do any harm?

   Just use the wrap and then the proper sealant

   wrap it up then either use the sealant or steel cable ties, up to you really

   Just use the wrapp an get some steel cable ties

   Thanks for the replies - i will just wrap it up and use my Dads kit to secure the wrap on. I got this Simoniz high temp paint - prob not going to do much with heat wrap on anyway i guess!
