How to guide request

   Inside the boot is that light, can someone please do a guide of how to fit a neon wired up to this so when the boot opens the neon comes on.

   cut 1 wire put a block on it put a nean wire in that block then cut the other and do the same thats ho i would do it

   Basic guide:
   
   1) pull light out of panel in side of boot.
   
   2) take wires from neon, and clip them into the wires running to the light with scotch blocks or a dab of solder on the terminals.
   
   3) See if the neon works.
   If yes - refit light and fit neon where you want it.
   If no, take wires off and refit them the other way round, as chances are you have fitted negative to positive and vice versa.

   cheers man , the only thing is the light atm doesnt come on ? could that just be the light or the wiring ?

   Did this today it soooo simple takes like 5 mins...well should do if the plonker b4 didnt try bodge the fkin thing with shrink wrap :L was a pain on 1 wire

   check if there is power or might just be the bulb?

   Probably the bulb thats gone. Replace that to start with.
   
   If it still doesnt work test the wiring with a multimeter

   do i need to have the original light or can i just get rid and put a neon there ?

    cut off the end of the cig lighter slit the wires and put them to the wires on the light see which ones turn the neons on.
