1.3 Rallye Gearbox times?

    Any one runnign 1.3 box's on there vtr/vts's and for any 1.4 times? looking at taking mine up santapod when ive finshed my new head but was just intrested in peoples times..

    Also post up your 1/4 times.. ive seached but not really found much..

    think we should have a sticky off everyones times!

    Only car I've seen that I know of running an S1 box, was an S1 Rallye, with an S2 engine (103bhp standard, plus breathing mods, exhaust, mani, induction). Full interior, and it ran a 15.1 at Pod.

    Which is pretty fecking quick for a nigh on standard 8v.

    different engine specs will be running different times, then theres tyres, driver etc etc...

    if i had a s1 box on mine id expect the times to be considerably different to yours

    Sweet, would love to run them times lol.. cant wait to get it down, think i may strip mine out aswel

    hehe i have one on my cammed vtr im in love, but im worried about traction.. at the moment.. if i do standing starts on my 14 raptors.. im spinning all 1st and most off second..

    im gunna go down santapod on a rwyb session with some 15s and see what happens!

    Saxo_furio2000, you will love the box. Mankee has a very good reputation i hear

    Im running an S2rallye box, soon to have a lightend fly aswell!

    i ran an s1 rallye box on my cammed vts and to be honest the 1/4 mile times was no quicker than with a vts box ,also rickyp was running a rallye box and said the same ,1st gear is not worth a wank on the rallye box on the 1/4 mile just spins and before everyone jumps in and says i should have set off slower ,i messed about with 1/4 mile sprints for 3 years sad but true .
    the s1 box is good in a road car but even on sum of the track days i did was near flatout on the longer straights at over 7500 rpm so not ideal

    i recently ran 14.2 @ 100mph with s1 rallye box on my 106 and ran 13.8 @ 101mph with s1 rallye box on my saxo. crazy lots quicker down the strip but only 1 mph different on speed.

    Sweet, whats your spec on your saxo and 106?, gunna search now, but you might reply quicker

    Rickys cars are both reasonably tuned and stripped ect

    there are waaay too many variables to say just a gearbox counts that much

    i wasnt going to compare, i was intrested in his different specs between the 2 and only 1mph difference thort that was pretty cool lol..

    didnt no weather the was a lot different in the specs, and they both 16v's i think so couldnt compare between them and mine anyways.

    i've got a series 1 106 rallye gearbox for sale, breaking the whole car inc engine etc etc, just a thought if anyone was after one
