Important! : Peak Power On Standard VTS Camshafts *rr graphs etc needed*

  1. #1
Anyone got some rolling road graphs of VTS with standard camshafts in?
Want to see what revs they are making peak power at etc.

Dont matter if the car has exhaust etc, but state if you have if thats ok.
Or if you can post your results instead of the graph that would be good aswel

    Cheers
    Steve

I'm at work mate, so don't have anything to hand. However, if it's any use, the VTS should make max BHP @ 6600rpm, (120bhp) and max torque @ 5200rpm. (107lb/ft)

A decat exhaust system will free up a few ponies, and tend to shift the peak BHP slightly, so expect to see max BHP around 6700 - 6900rpm.

What does power at the wheels mean?

so best rev range is 5500-6000 with peak at around 5700? is that a correct assumption?

Actual power that gets to the road after some is lost through the transmission

Sorry the pictures a bit crappy

Below standard power, but I put that down to the Ashley exhaust as when removed the car was definitly more responsive.
