rear light help

   I have had my boot welded shut. i now cant get my rear lights in. is it now time to go one off with them? or does anyone know how i can 'cram' them back in. cheers.

   WHat part of the light stops it getting in mate?

   umm, its more the bolt that you have to put in the hole to tighten i cant jiggle it to the right place to get in. but it would be the top plastic bit. if i cut the bolt off im pretty sure it would fit.

   can you not try putting them in at an angle mate if ya know what i mean or maybe shave a bit of the boot

    i tried allsorts of angles, i could get it to poke about a cm through, but then it just wouldnt budge at all.

    no, i think im going to have to cut the bolt off that sticks out, and slide the light in.
    but i will glue/attatch a nut to the lights so i can put a bolt on the inside. but as its at the garage i wont know yet lol
