oil and filter change

i am doing a oil and filter change soon,im unsure as to were the oil filter is,the one im thinking looks slightly different to the one ive bought which is for a saxo,is this it?

inside that black casing.. is the filter...

you need something like that if its your engine above. . .

mmmm,It doesnt look like the one ive bought from shop.The one ive bought looks like your average oil filter.and yes it says its for a saxo on the box,i told the guy at the shop what car it was for,ie 2001 saxo vtr and thats what he gave me(muppet).Cheers anyway mate.Are mk1 oil filters different than mk2 because ive looked in HAYNES and in there it looks like the one ive bought.PS:yes that is my engine above,how much are the correct ones?.

Just been back to the shop,got the correct one,6.99 it was but he let me have it for a fiver,problem solved,cheers guys
