flat spot on 1.1 eastcoast

   sumtimes wen i put my foot down from coming out of a junction or just genrally driving around the revs drop then cum back up like a flat spot.its hard to explain but its really pissing me off.and its got worse.i was driving the other day and my car jst lost all the power and sounded like it was going to die.anyone know what it is?valve sticking etc???

   I'm getting the same on my 1.1 forte. I have a feeling it is a dirty ICSV otherwise know has the stepper motor or idle control valve.
   
   Had a similar problem on my old Xsara 1.4 and it was that. Took it out, soaked it in clutch cleaner and it worked fine after, but skint till payday so not doing my saxo one till then.

   If its doing it whilst warm then it could be a faulty coil pack.
