Remove your aerial, cut a small section of tin plate and weld it from the top...only do one spot at a time or youl end up with a warped roof wich is an utter T**t to sort out, grind down the welds, then fill. its best to put in a small skim of bridging filler/fiberglass and sand it down first then apply the filler il take a pic of mine tomorow if i get the chance

i filled mine with Expanding Foam *i was sound deadening my roof to an extreme at the time* so whilst i was filling it, i decided to smooth it, so let the foam set, then just packed a fuck load of filler over the top... sorted (y)

And they wonder why kwikfit has a bad name.
    What a total bodge tonto.
Do it as the other guy said and weld a plate in.
Do small welds at opposites ,on the lowest heat setting that gives full penetration to avoid warping the panel.

if you want to do it without welding etc then fiberglass it from underneath and then minimal amount of filler but welding a plate in is the best option imo
