hi rite i have a mk2 vtr and now and again the car cut's out either when driving or upon start up but only does it now and again when petrol is half way or below but wont cut out when you drive slowly lol only when you put your foot down to about 60mph then just dies! and after a few trys it will restart and be fine
so far i've changed
fuel pump
fuel filter
main injection relay
by passed the fuel cut off switch
ran a bottle of injector cleaner though it
done full service plugs,oil/filter etc
but it's still happening i put it down to a fuel matter as it restart's after a few try's and only does it now and again when under half a tank, could some one tell me how to check the fuel rail to see if it has fuel init next time it does it plz i've looked in the haynes manual and it say's there's a bleed valve on the side of the rail but i looked and one side is just a hole and the other is blocked off??
was maybe thinking a coil pack problem of some sort any body got any idea's thx alot rich.
