knocking suspension

   whenever i get into my car and i have the door open i hear a knocking coming from the rear? problem at all? common? easy to fix? please help

   Might be the dampers creaking when the hand brake is up and the weight changes.

   As said check your rear dampers........or may be your rear beam on its way out.............
