Problems with changing gear

   Right, first off i have searched but not found much useful information.
   
   Having some trouble with changing gear, there's a few problems, i have a neutral gear inbetween 1st and 3rd, so when going from 4th to 3rd it sometimes ends up in a neutral gear, what is it causing this?
   
   Also changing gear is very difficult gears such as 1st, 2nd and 3rd are very difficult to get in, what's the cause of this?
   
   As you can probably tell only good with the basics and havn't got a clue about gearboxes, any help would be great.

   fucked gear linkages, pins, or gearbox.

   Yeh i thought gear linkages but didn't want to replace them to find it didn't make much difference so thought i would see if anyone else has had these problems and how they fixed it.

   As above really. And replace the linkages with uprated parts, theyre only like £10 more and therefore not wasted money.
   
   Also gearbox oil, check that.
