Front Suspension Query...

   I have 50mm Eibach Sportline springs upfront. I went for these at the time as I wanted a 50mm drop and was told that these springs go fine with standard shocks (didn't really have the funds to upgrade shocks at the time). Now I have a noise coming from the left front area. I know it's not driveshaft as these have gone before and it's a different noise. Bit like going over a cattle grid type noise only when going over a bump or a pothole etc. I'm pretty sure that this is the shock that's gone? If it is, then i'd be looking to get aftermarket ones rather than getting standard ones as surely they will last longer and be more suited to the springs. It's for road only, not track so what would you recommend?
   
   Also, is there anything else it could be? Struts, Shocks, Dampers? Suspension is my clueless area so any help would be great!

   Jack the whole front end up and get a lever bar and check for play in them

   Cheers mate. What do they look like are they near the springs? Suspension isn't my good point as you can already tell

   about 25cm long mounted to the suspension leg and then to a bar (antiroll bar) which is bolted under the car very easy to spot once the car is jacked up
