MK2 VTR De-Cat.......HELP.....

   HI,
   im looking to decat my mk2 vtr but all the decat pipes i can find only go up to a year 2000 its to do with the Mk 1 models having a horizontal cat, and Mk2 models with vertical cat in the downpipe.......
   
   any thoughts on how i can decat..?

   You'll need a new manifold to decat a mk2 as the cat is in the maifold.
   Then when mot time rolls around put a mk1 cat and pipe on that sit under the car.

   If your cat is in your manifold then to de cat it you'll just need to get an aftermarket manifold
   
   supersprint is the 'least hassle option' but is quite pricey
   
   raceland is a cheaper option but you will have to do other modifications in order to fit it (oil filter relocation to mk1 setup)
   
   There are other options but those 2 are most widely used

   defo need new main but if the mk2 has cat under and dont have a pipe to buy then get one made its wouldnt cost to much
