Mercedes E320 CDI Engine?

  1. #1
This is a genuine question - I've just had an offer from my dads mate whos offering me the 3.0 V6 turbo diesel engine from a '06 plate benz with low mileage and 7-speed 'box for a reasonable price. Any thoughts? Even possible to do the transfer? If so will there be to much weight? Was thinking maybe Rear engined/driven wheels?

    Thanks

no chance , u ever seen one a they engines , its about the size of a saxo

also ur rear engine idea , thats designed to drive the rear wheels , u'll not get the engine/box/diff in teh back of a saxo

hell of alot a work would be needed to mae it fit

better off picking a different engine

Why do people come up with so much crap. I recommend buying it then throwing 5k at it to get fitted then realise its a load of tosh!

Why do some people get all arsey when all it is, is a simple question that needs an answer not somebody getting all stressed because its not feasable without major fabrication.

lol no chance. saxo wouldnt even cope with the weight of it. handling would be shagged
