   Do you have any other mods? Standard plugs are fine, you wont see any difference with 'performance plugs' unless you have a heavily modded car which has greater fueling than standard e.g. cams, turbo, supercharger and nitrous.

   As said plugs specs are defined by engine requirements. If you have some old tired set in a stock engine just replace with a new set of standard and your engine will perk back up.

   I fit NGK iridium plugs and it seems to run smoother, as said though i think it depends on your cars engine spec.

   if you can get hold of the gold plated ngk's they've been proven to give a 50bhp+ power increase.

    Nope, might make 0.1hp of difference but it wont be noticeable.

    does anybody know the type of spark plugs for a vtr, been looking all over and cant get the number for the ngk ones. just curiosity really as they will tell me in the shop but i wanted to check stock in some places first

    They may seem to liven it up a little but there isnt anything worth paying a huge ammount more for.

    use standard ones, they are 8 quid for four, i use them on my 160 bhp vts!!
    
    standard ones should be good enuf, as you dnt want to much sprak as you could get pre ingition if you not carful,

    its doing a stupid juddering thing and lost all power so i am guessing its something to do with plugs. only gonna put standard ones in anyway

    possibly, done the plugs, changed fuel filter and sticking a new coil pack on this afternoon. checked all sensors yesterday and they seem ok but cant tell for sure. will see how the coil does
