vtr engine swap

   Can anybody tell me if its possible to replace the 8v engine from my vtr with a pug 1.9 205 gti block?

   Not without a lot of work I can imagine. Mating a TU vtr head to an old 1.9 8v block?!
   
   Could replace the vtr engine with a vts engine if you're after more power
