brake lights not working

   as it says ive checked the fuse's and the bulbs and there all fine and i need to go out in me car 2nite but cant now because got no brake lights help asap plz

   have you replaced the bulbs? they can look ok but still not work

   they where working fine at about half 6 and yeah i have could it be the relay possibly?? any one no where it is lol

   it could be your brake light switch mate. Have a look above you brake pedal. The switch is screwed into a mount above it. Just check the connection and give it a wiggle. Mine did the same a day before my mot lol.

   if you follow the brake pedal arm under the dash you'll come accross it's at the top. when you push your brake pedal in it releases that switch, turning your lights on.

   all looks fine mate do you no which fuse the brake light and tail lights are as i never got a fuse thing with the car

    got it sorted it was the brake light switch was corroded not sure how though but anyway cheers for the help lads

    how did you fix this dude? cuz iv ordered one for 2mo and my mot is 2mo lol and i need to lknow how on earth to get to it and fix it
