when i start my car up some times it is very lumpy and when i rev it a little to 3000rpm and let off the pedal it goes all the way down and cuts out it even does it sum times when it has being running for quite a while ? will cleaning the throttle body solve this or is this more complicated

    update !!!

i have replaced my idle control valve with a new one and i have taken my throttle body to bits and cleaned it and at the minute this has not made the slightest bit of difference so what shall i do now

    replace the map sensor
or replace the coolant temp sensor
