Hey guys, wanted some advice, was thinking of color coding the black trim around my vtr, Would i be better taking it off the car to do it or taping round them? Also what sand paper should i use? lol

tape round them, but do it like proper neatly. if you try and rip those black bits off then they will probably bend. and then they might not go back on properly. and dont you use like some special laquer stuff not sandpaper. like its stuff you spray straight on plastic and then you can spray over it.. not sure tho. do correct me if im wrong.

i would use sandpaper or wet and dry to smooth the small pimples off then mask up the car and spray very carefully

Right... lol just use news paper to cover up the car? lol
would 800 grit be fine enough?
