Couple of problems

   Hello all,
   
   I have no brake lights at all, my reverse light works and rear fog works but no brake lights? any one know what could be wrong?

   The car has been lowered 40mm and has 195 45 15 tyres on it any idea why they rub the lower of the sill on full lock? the previous owner has taken out the inner arch liners and it still rubs? any ideas as to what can be the problem and what i can do to fix?

   Brake lights are one of two things... Have you checked both brake bulbs? Does the centre one work?
   If the bulbs are ok, then it's probably your brake light switch - located on the brake pedal.
   
   Wheels rub cos it's a saxo lowered 40mm.

   Yeah checked all bulbs including all the centre ones, they are all ok. how do i check the brake switch on the pedal? i am at work the now and checked all the bulbs, i have also noticed how the wheel is rubbing, when the previous owner has takenm off the inners he/she has missed a screw/bolt on the wing where it joins the side skirt so it is loose and rubbing on full lock.

   Also noticed that there is no bulb in the boot light? would this lack of bulb cause the rear break lights not to work?

   no.
   
   If all bulbs are good, just go down to a scrappy and get a replacement switch. They'll only be pennies.

   Yes checked and all good, got a new brake pedal switch for 4 pound 2 mins of fiddle and they all work now. thanks for the replies.
