engine werring noise

   on tick over and whilst driving a horrible werring screetching noise is heard thats goes quieter when the cluth is pressed down... is it the clutch on the way out please folks,, thanks

   ive got it on mine 2 mate the garage near me sed it will 1 day fail and then need to be changed but until then it ul just piss u off

   its the clutch release thinga me bob iv got the same prob. mechanic sed to replace the whole clutch coz its times up after about 5ooo miles .doze any body no how much i should be paying for a clutch.2000 vtr

   thrust bearing/clutch release bearing!

   be around £90 for the clutch abu just depends on the fitting costs

   got qutoed 120 by the local auto mechanical place there bound to be sumwhere cheaper tho, that was just for fitting by the way if i supplied the clutch
