Awesome! Will wait to see exactly who sells these and will then consider one.

Always fancied a pugsport for the saxo but couldnt be chewed with the hassle of sorting the rear bumper problem out
  6. #6
    nice one!
how the hell did you find the site?
  7. #7
Wonder is Kam will get some in?
  8. #8

Doubt it, as 106parts had it designed especially for them.

The best exhaust exhaust in the known universe is now available in direct fitment for the saxo I was happy to buy a Pugsport & have it looking sh1t (i've had 2 on my previous 106's) as im no style whore, but im sure this will appeal to the masses:

    http://www.saxsport.co.uk/

    £250 delivered.
hows it the best? best power improvement over standard? I think they sound over raspy.

Well im basing my experience on the original Magnex, then Scorpion Pugsport exhaust for the 106, which both produced healthy gains on the rollers after fitting.

For me, the only reason to add an exhaust is more power. So in my mind, the best exhaust is the one that satisfies this criteria most effectively couldnt care less what it looks/sounds like.

In all honesty, ill probably still just buy a 2nd hand pugsport as im tight

Hmmm.. wonder if the main pipework comes in a 2.5" flavour for the boosted crew.

fair do's. Can't complain at the price tbh. There dyno'd standard saxo got 106bhp hmmm
  17. #17
is it manifold back or cat back?

They could have been on about power at the fly?
  20. #20
vtr single plug is 90bhp at the fly
vtr triple plug is 98bhp at the fly
vts is 120bhp at the fly

so it is a huge gain for the vtr

Is that with just this exhaust? No other mods?

If so thats a really good increase imo

    Oh. my. god.

Has nobody actually read the info on the website i linked

With the standard exhaust. The car got 106bhp.
With the 'Saxsport' it got 111bhp.

    An increase of 5bhp.

There is no mention of any other mods to the car on the website, but i assume it either has some, or is 'very healthy'.

nope. Scorpion say it will make similar power to their off the shelf saxo version already produced - we may sell that. This one is a custom made one for 106parts. We sell the pugsport so know what its going to be like.
We already sell a superior system which is lighter and I think uses thicker material so better quality.

There is no 2" supersprint for the saxo at the moment. We've upgraded to a 2.25" stainless backbox which is even better.
  25. #25
Just out of interest Kam, do you have any information on the power increase you would expect from the SS silenced race system on a VTS?
  26. #26
most feedback i've had are from vtr owners who have got 12-15bhp when combined with a raceland or supersprint manifold.
The bores are the same pretty much on all these systems so there is only going to be slight variations in power. The supersprint race system does not have the dummy cat so might keep better pulse tuning throughout but whether this makes any difference +/-ve I've not compared on a rr.

i dnt think people should look too mcugh in to website power gain,

but saying that the saxsport ones look nice, but i still am a big fan of the kam racing, god you lads at kam racing keep bring new think out cant keep up

but have to say the saxsport ones look very nice, nice to see a few on saxo on here soon

those power gains have been confirmed by VTSarah, her and mankee are pretty reliable tbh. im tempted by one of these myself

Lol I think most people on here just look at the numbers and don't bother reading the text

The 106Bhp figure is rather irrelevant; it's the change in power from having the exhaust fitted that is of interest here.

Doesn't matter if it was rolling roaded at 106Bhp or 406Bhp. Fact is it shows a back to back increase of 5Bhp. Which for a manifold back exhaust sounds plausable and a decent gain

Nice find btw. Be interested to see (hear) how these sound etc! Tidy bit of craftsmanship!

Basically an increase from the de-cat then, they look a tidy piece of kit mind!

Do these come with a centre silencer? If so can you get them un-silenced?
